Laura Sänger founded La Katz in 2020 in Vienna with the vision of creating exceptionally good silk pieces. Designed from the purest silk, all pieces are handcrafted by their artisans in Germany. Craft-oriented roots, a desire for excellence, unique raw materials and a timeless yet glamorous design combine Laura's vision to create a modern fashion brand.
The brand
Laura launched La Katz with Apollonia, a single silk coat. Inspired by old Hollywood glam combined with Vienna's chic and timeless attitude, she set out with her tailor to design the perfect silk coat. The signature piece is a silky luxury version of the classic trench coat and represents a unique kind of bold feminine glamour.
La Katz remain true to the artisan concept of production - it takes up to 6 hours of dedication to create each garment. Because we believe in timeless elegance - beautiful garments that last.
